RO2: Installing & Patching the LotS Client

Introduction
Please note that this is for those wishing to play the official kRO2: LotS Server. Divinia does not have a p.server at this point in time for RO2:LotS.

To play on the official server you will need an account which requires a KSSN [Korean Social Security Number]. Please do not ask for official accounts or KSSN's we do not have any to give out. There is a guide by KamihitoKoichi here on registering a GNJoy account.

Part 1 - Client Download
You can download the RO2:LotS installer from the official website or there is a torrent available.

Be advised that this can be very slow [4+ hours] to download. Use the torrents if this bothers you.
Tip: Use Internet Explorer to access the offical KRO2 website.

Required Files
RO2 requires these files to play if you do not have them get them.

• PhysX
• DirectX

Optional Files
Not required to play but may make your life easier.

• RO2 English Translation by RO2Trans - Public SVN always has the latest file. Download and extract to your RO2 folder. Clear your cache if you are having trouble getting the latest file.
  Please note that the translation is a Work In Progress, not everything is translated yet.

Part 2 - Launching the Game & Patching Your Client

• Patching will occur automatically when you launch the game.
• Use the RO2:LotS SSO Launcher [Created by Dumbie] that comes with the RO2 English Transation to log into and launch RO2:LotS. You will need a GnJOY Account to do this. [If you extract this properly it should be located in your RO2 folder]
• Creating a PIN number: the first time you launch the game with your account you will be asked to creat a pin number. Use a number that you will remember as this will be required each time you launch the game.
  The numbers on the pad will move each time you click on one, this is an added security feature.

Part 3 - Error List Translation
If you get an error in Korean look here for a translation.

Looks like guys responsible for translation won't do most of their job until OBT. The argument is constant changes in game.
Looks like this CBT won't be so nice to play... :(

The RO2 trans link works for me. It's a direct download.

Edit: What do you mean? They won't be translating the game anymore until OBT? So most of the game now is korean?

The current CBT will only have the UI translated, constant changes to the files by Gravity makes it extremely difficult to translate things correctly especially when they keep changing the names of things. This should settle down once OBT starts and they have their file structure and a lot of other things finalized.

The link to the translation works fine for me, it's a direct link to the download not to a page so it should automatically start downloading the file. You can also go to their website to get the files.

Place it into your RO2/data folder.
